The Oldham Quiet Ones is a group for people who have had a laryngectomy and offers members a chance to make new friends, access support, hear about new developments and enjoy social events. The group have recently purchased special breathing apparatus and safety equipment to allow thier members to take part in regular swim sessions at Oldham Sports Centre. The swim sessions take place on the second Sunday of each month, whilst the main group meets the last Saturday of each month at 1pm at the Royal Oak, 172 Manchester Road, Oldham.
