Services in the Greater Manchester & Cheshire Cancer Network are currently being reviewed and re-organised, but as a general guide:

Surgery:

You will be able to have surgery for testicular cancer at most local hospitals, however if your treatment is more complex, you will be treated at The Christie.

Chemotherapy:

Although some local hospitals in the Network can provide chemotherapy for testicular cancer, most patients will be treated at The Christie.

Radiotherapy:

All radiotherapy will be provided at The Christie.

For more information about hospitals, go to our cancer services section.

Palliative Care:

If cancer can't be cured, medical, nursing and emotional support can be offered at home, in hospital or in a hospice. Some palliative care services can also help people with complex problems whose illness is likely to be cured. You can find out more about palliative care by clicking here.
