Bladder cancers are most usually linked to smoking, so you can cut your risk by not starting to smoke, or by giving up now. Even if you are quite old and have smoked for a long time, it is still worth stopping.

For advice on giving up smoking, try the UK charity QUIT.

Our help and support section also has details of other national and local smoking cessation services.
